Liberia: Nation Rated Highest Among 24 African Agriculture Producers

A report published by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) has rated Liberia the best among 24 African countries it supports that are taking concrete steps to boost food security in the country. IFAD's Associate Country Program Manager for Liberia, Cecile Unternaenrer, said the report follows the comprehensive assessment conducted recently by a team of experts in as many as 50 agricultural projects being implemented across Liberia by the Agriculture Sector Rehabilitation Program, ASRP at the Ministry of Agriculture.
