Kenya: Traders Seeks to Stop Sale of His Car Over MP Loan

A businessman has moved to court seeking an order to stop repossession of his Range Rover to recover some Sh5.6 million debt owed by Garsen MP Danson Mungatana to a bank. Mr David Mahugu has sued the MP, a company called Muranga Road MotorMatt, Equity bank and Antique Auctions. He says he entered into a sale agreement with Muranga Road Motormart through its agent Francis Nga'ng'a and bought the Range Rover for Sh3.8 million. And before he bought the car, Mungatana was the registered owner of the car. Source
