North Korean succession concerns knock Brent crude
Brent crude oil fell as low as $102.40 a barrel (R5.40 a litre) yesterday as a mystery man took the reins of North Korea and its massive stockpiles of plutonium. The death of Kim Jong-il on Saturday, and the succession of his unknown youngest son Kim Jong-un as North Korean leader, spooked financial and commodity markets – already jittery on euro zone concerns.
