LONMIN NUM accepts wage hike offer

The National Union of Mineworkers (NUM) accepted a revised wage offer from platinum mining firm Lonmin on Friday. “(The) NUM has put forward a wage demand of 11 percent. Lonmin responded with 10 percent for category three and four for year one and 9 percent for category five to nine in year one,” spokesman Lesiba Seshoka said. Source
