Congo-Kinshasa: Road to Stability Riddled With Uncertainties
Only one President, Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe, honoured Joseph Kabila's invitation to his swearing-in ceremony, held on Tuesday in a tense Kinshasa. The ceremony at the presidential residence was a low-key affair attended by a select few, a far cry from the jubilant 2006 ceremony that ushered in a great promise after years of conflicts in the country.
