Kenya: Matatu Plan Strike Over Christmas

Thousands of people who hope to travel upcountry for the Christmas holidays may not do so if a strike called by the Central Organisation of Trade Unions and the Matatu Welfare Association starts on Monday. The strike is being called to protest high fuel prices and is expected to force the government to cut the price by at least 30 per cent. Source
