Sierra Leone: World Pressure Builds Over TV Corruption Expose
According to a news release from the Senior Legislative Assistant in the Washington, D.C. office of Congressman Hank Johnson, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, eighteen members of the U.S. Congress yesterday wrote U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton urging the United States government to insist on a full investigation of credible reports that senior Sierra Leonean officials offered permission to conduct illegal and destructive logging operations in exchange for bribes.
