South Sudan: Parliament Approves South Sudan Membership in World Bank

South Sudan National Legislative Assembly yesterday passed a bill that would be a gate way for South Sudan to join the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank groups' institutions. Members of Parliament recommended that it is vital for South Sudan to join the World Bank and the IMF because there is no way a country can develop itself without those institutions but cautioned on borrowing of money from both institutions.
