Nigeria: Senate Orders Customs to Reverse Auction of NIPP Containers

The Senate, through the chairman, Senate Committee on Power, Senator Philip Aduda, yesterday ordered the Nigeria Customs Service to retrieve all 17 containers belonging to the National Integrated Power Project (NIPP) and the Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN), which it auctioned, declaring that the sales bordered on criminality.
