Kenya: Number of Murang'a Youth Suicide Cases Alarming

The government has expressed concern over the rampant suicide cases in Murang'a County with most victims being the youth. Yesterday shock gripped the area after a middle-aged man was found hanging on a tree in a church compound. The deceased identified as Mugo Thuo was found hanging with a rope on his neck by residents of Gatheru village in Kahuro at a Full Gospel Church. Thuo, a father of three, left behind no suicide note that could have helped establish why he decided to take his life. Source
